Anyone who holds their work ‘do’ at Pizza Express, Market Place will be given vouchers for an exclusive two for one drinks offer at Ronnie’s Bar, Dukes Court.

Ronnie’s owner Ronnie Rees said: “It’s great to be able to offer this deal in association with Pizza Express. We know that they, like us, have a high standard for quality and are sure that their clientele will enjoy the Ronnie’s experience.”

Throughout the Christmas period, Ronnie’s will be offering plenty of free live entertainment to customers including DJs and live music to make sure revellers enjoy the festive season. In previous years this has included carol concerts and brass bands as well as free mince pies and specially created Christmas Cocktails. And Ronnie’s will be announcing their Christmas entertainment schedule nearer to the time.

Pizza Express assistant Manager Kate Percival added: “We know that Ronnie’s is seen as the premier late night bar in the town and hope that this gives our customers an opportunity to keep their party going after they have enjoyed their meal with us here.”
The offer will be available for anyone booking Christmas parties at Pizza Express between 28th November and 23rd December.

On to other things, I would like to say thank you to everyone who came down to celebrate with Jacko and Tommy from Rough Twist at their birthday gig on Sunday. Hot Vestry, Zap Zap Zap and Cash4Chaos along with the ever funk laden Rough Twist put together a afternoon and evening of quality local original music, and much cheer was had by all which carried on into the small hours!

I like to think we do birthday parties well at Ronnie’s, I would even go as far as to say the some of the best birthday parties I can remember (and quite a few I can’t) have been over the past couple of years here in the courtyard. If you have a birthday coming up, why not let us throw you a party?
