Ronnie’s Bar has live football this weekend.

Coming up we have:

Manchester United v West Brom – 3.00pm

United haven’t got off to as strong a start as most of their fans would have liked and have certainly drawn games that you would usually expect them to have won. But on their own patch they are still a force and even though West Brom are having a great season so far, United will still probably have too much for them. Prediction: 2-1 home win.

Aston Villa v Chelsea – 5.30

Other than their defeat to City, Chelsea are looking like running away with the title this season. Villa on the other hand have slipped back a bit in their hunt for fourth place. This is the sort of game Ville will need to be taking something out of to get the upper hand in Champions League qualification and might see City’s win as inspiration, but Chelsea will still be able to take the points. Prediction 1-0 away win.

Everton v Liverpool - 1.30pm

The most significant Merseyside derby in years has taken a back seat to the legal wranglings over Liverpool’s future. With that now looking a bit more settled, Liverpool can focus on the football. But this is a game that could see either side in the bottom three by the end of the afternoon. Everton still havent won at home this season, but Liverpool are no power this year so I can see the winless run continuing for both. Prediction: Draw.

Blackpool v Manchester City – 4.00

Blackpool are beating all the odds this season and have already taken three points from Anfield and St James’ Park. But for every great result there has been a heavy defeat. Blackpool have yet to win at home this season but for some reason have only played there twice. City on the other hand have been doing well, and don’t concede many but still have the irritating habit of shooting themselves in the foot. But with Tevez in great form and the defence looking very solid, they can still win this. Prediction: 1-0 away win.
