Live football this week at Ronnie’s.

It’s another big weekend of live football at Ronnie’s Bar as the Premier League is back in action following the midweek Carling Cup matches.

First up on Saturday we have Manchester City v Cheslea. Both clubs saw weak sides knocked out of the Cup on Wednesday as both rested their senior players in anticipation of this weekend’s match.

Kicking off at 12.45, I’m going for a 2-1 home win for City against a Chelsea side who haven’t really been tested this season.

The later afternoon game at 3.00 sees Liverpool entertaining Sunderland. ‘Pool were another side to play a weaker than usual side as they faced Northampton. And is back fired spectacularly as the League Two side won on penalties. Liverpool have been struggling this season but surely things can’t get any worse for them! At home to Sunderland, I think they will have a bit too much for them. Prediction: 2-0 to Liverpool.

Bolton Wanderers face United at 12.00 in a match which United have struggled with in the past. United aren’t really hitting the heights this season and are yet to win away. But Bolton haven’t won at home yet so I can see this being a draw – 1-1.

Kicking off at the weird time of ten past four, Newcastle are playing Stoke. The Potters haven’t won away this season so I’m going for a home win. 1-0.

Think my predictions are wrong? Why not prove it by taking part in our Prediction Game which can see you winning FREE Beer at every match we show live here at Ronnie’s Bar.
